GRM, a national information management company, located in Jersey City, NJ is currently recruiting for an experienced Software Developer in their Roswell, GA location.
Position Summary
This position will provide development support to the EDM Sales team and will have the primary responsibility of coding new VisualVault functionality identified during the sales process. VisualVault is GRM’s cloud based ECM (Enterprise Content Management) application.
The software developer position will be required to develop new web applications using ASP.NET and the VisualVault REST API. The new development will be utilized during the sales process and the developer will work closely with the assigned Sales Engineer and Sales Executive to define requirements.
The Software Engineer must be able to design aesthetic ASP pages including style sheets, graphics, data containers, etc. Must be able to utilize the VisualVault REST API to integrate the ASP.NET applications with the core product.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with sales engineers in defining requirements.
- Work with VisualVault developers to expand current REST API functionality
- Design aesthetic front end ASP pages including css, graphics, data containers, etc.
- Integrate new application with VisualVault using REST API
- Assist Sales team in customer demonstrations
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years ASP.NET (C#/VB.NET) development experience
- Proficiency in MS SQL Server (Creating tables, stored procedures, views, T-SQL queries)
- Experience consuming REST APIs
- Proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, HTML
- Must have the ability to translate customer needs into solution requirements.
- Excellent written, oral and presentations skills.
- Strong interpersonal, strategic and tactical planning, and analytical skills.
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s IT degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience serving in the capacity of a Software Engineer/Software Developer
- Conversant with enterprise content & document management solutions and associated architectures.
