Director- Human Resource Channels & Business Development - Jersey City, NJ

GRM is seeking a Director of HR Business Development to join our growing team.  This position will lead the Human Resources market for the Digital Division of GRM, and will be responsible for the recruitment and development of Channel  Sales in the Human Resources market through software providers, service providers and consultants focused in this vertical market. This position is strictly a “Hunter” role with a focus to establish new Channel Sales Partners consistent with the company’s growth strategies and in support of annual business objectives.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, and a focus on driving HR revenue across enterprise business within multiple vertical markets. This person will have a track record of success in channel sales of major HR initiatives, a strong knowledge of customer solutions life cycles, sales processes, the competitive landscape, and the development and execution of go-to-market plans with channel partners. 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and establish business alliances and partnerships that will drive GRM business, deepen our penetration into the ECM market and achieve sales goals.

 

  1. Broaden and deepen existing and new partner relationships, help develop strategies for new partners and aid with overall retention, including go-to-market programs.

 

  1. Develop and execute the strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals.

 

  1. Actively work with partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies.

 

  1. Build targeted growth strategy, identify new business opportunities and integrate with direct sales team efforts, marketing, and technical programs. 

 

  1. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Human Resources, providing input and direction for GRM HR solutions, marketing initiatives, business development and other HR-related functions.

 

  1. Define and coordinate HR sales training programs to improve knowledge and expertise within the GRM sales team and support company sales objectives.

 

  1. Monitor channel, market and competitive activity, providing feedback to GRM executives and constantly revising channel sales strategy.

 

Requirements

  • Extensive sales experience in Human Resources software, consulting, solution delivery or system integration.  Strong track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Demonstrated Human Resources document solutions experience, either working in a direct role within an HR organization or in strategic ECM sales to HR departments.
  • Strong and consistent track record in developing new business, managing a complex sales cycle, and delivering revenue targets within the Human Resources document solutions market.
  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
  • Track record in high performance sales and delivering revenue targets through partners.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and strategic thinking, strong customer-facing, sales & marketing and presentation skills. 
  • 5+ recent years selling complex, enterprise HR ECM solutions, BPM, document capture, and records management, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
