Manager of Professional Services

About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Professional Services for our Electronic Document Management (EDM) Division reporting to the VP of Operations, this is an immediate opportunity for a strong business and operations leader to transform and scale our professional services business. This is a role for a proven industry leader who possesses the drive to build a growth-oriented business model and make a major contribution to the future of our Electronic Document Management services business.

 

The Manager of Professional Services will be responsible for all services engagements from the sales cycle through deployment. We are looking for candidates with ten or more years of EDM and/or technical software experience which includes a combination of client facing, program management, business development, and technology implementation work.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate must have a transformational track record as a leader with experience in the EDM and/or technical software industry. This individual will have a history of managing the growth of client relationships and generating outstanding and sustainable business performance. This candidate will have proven his/her ability to execute flawlessly and drive/motivate others around him/her to do the same. Success in this role will be determined by the individual’s track-record of building sustainable business growth over an extended period of time.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Set the direction for the professional services organization. Oversee design and implementation, including strategies and goals to drive organic growth.
  • Provide strategic leadership to large customers, and create/foster a trusted advisor relationship with our customer base.
  • Build a high performing team by creating a work environment where individuals and teams can achieve peak performance through the attraction, development and engagement of the best and the brightest.
  • Support the roll-out of best practices around project management, performance metrics, and delivery in the professional services organization.
  • Collaborate with the GRM locations nationwide to build synergies and seize opportunities.
  • Develop and/or champion initiatives that focus on bringing innovation in the form of new services, identifying opportunities for existing offerings, or generating more revenue from existing offerings and customers.

 

Required experience:

  • Software Industry Background
  • Document management and document scanning experience
  • Experience leading professional service teams
  • 5-years EDM
